Omar had always dreamed of exploring the mountains near his grandfather's village. Last summer, he finally convinced his cousin Karim to join him on a hiking trip. They packed water, food, and a rope, although Karim thought the rope was unnecessary. While they were climbing the narrow path, they heard the sound of falling water. Behind the tall trees, they discovered a waterfall that was hidden from the main trail. Karim noticed a dark opening in the rock, which was partly covered by the water. "If we go inside, we might find something amazing," Omar said with excitement. Although Karim was nervous, he agreed to follow his cousin into the cave. Inside, the walls were covered with strange marks that looked like ancient drawings. Omar took photos while Karim held the flashlight with shaking hands. Suddenly, the flashlight went out, and the cave became completely dark. Karim wanted to panic, but Omar stayed calm and remembered the rope. They had tied the rope at the entrance, so they followed it slowly back to the light. When they reached the village that evening, they told Omar's grandfather about the drawings. He smiled and said that his own father had discovered the same cave sixty years ago. The next month, a team of archaeologists came to study the cave, and the boys felt like real explorers.
